If you have the device to reset the code do so. You can also go to advance auto or auto zone request them to reset. They will do it for free. Then, drive over 100 miles if it fixed indicator light will not come back. Good luck.

@anisiobidavid870 i do not believe car systems will automatically reset it self. But, feel free to try hoping it will go away. You can do a low risk as well - take out the negative cable terminal from the battery that will reset the whole system. The risk is that if your car required system to relearn to operate it can be very expensive. If i drive older car i would do it if don’t have the device to reset.

Also, if you don’t reset the code how would you know you actually fixed the issue. Code can be from upper or lower stream O2 sensor. Then there’s a potential bad Cadillac converter can cause indicator light turn on. I would say at least do the negative battery terminal. Good luck 👍

I would recommend remove negative battery cable then remove throttle body to clean with throttle body cleaner only. Once removed and cleaned not necessary you fixed the issue. After you installed and drove the car over 100 miles, light indicator should not come back unless the throttle body is no good. That’s what happened to me i had to replaced a brand new throttle body. Please use the Mass Air Flow sensor spray only to spray 6 to 7 inches away from the sensor. Spray inside to get out the debris. Good luck!
